Meet Jennifer Jeram
Jennifer and her husband Dan have called Clifton Park home since 2009. They have three children - Jimmy (13), Ben (11), and Maddie (8) - and they love raising their family here. They are deeply involved in the community, from Shen Track & Field to Clifton Park Soccer, Baseball, and Junior Plainsmen Football. On rare free days, they enjoy hiking local trails with their dog, Spot.
Originally from Niskayuna, Jennifer earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from McGill University. She began her career as a case manager at the YWCA Domestic Violence Shelter, supporting victims in Family Court. Determined to make a greater impact, she pursued a law degree at the University at Buffalo Law School, working in its domestic violence clinic and interning with the Schenectady County District Attorney’s Office, assisting in prosecuting sex crimes and other offenses.
After law school, she returned home to represent domestic violence victims, an experience that deepened her respect for fair and effective judges and led her to a career in the judicial system. With nearly 20 years in the courts, she has handled thousands of cases with integrity and respect.
Beyond her legal career, Jennifer is passionate about giving back to her community. She is a parishioner at St. Edward the Confessor Church and a member of Clifton Park Elks Lodge No. 2466, where she helps organize Elktoberfest, benefiting the Cerebral Palsy Association of NY. She serves on the Clifton Park Historic Preservation Commission, and can be found helping at many local events. She is also actively involved in the Arongen Elementary School PTA, serving as Co-President from 2022 to 2024.
Jennifer’s extensive legal experience, deep community roots, and dedication to justice make her the ideal candidate for Town Justice. She is ready to serve Clifton Park with fairness and integrity.
